TOWER OF GOD

Tower of God …what a title O.O … really captivating with a lot of potential… It makes me think- before starting with the manhwa- what kind of things it can have?!! And after trying to imagine for couple of minutes I stop with: WOW it must be a dreamy place… a heaven :D and a giant grin is drawn unconsciously on my face.. I’m ganna read about paradise for sure!! Or at least that’s what I thought >.<;

As I started reading this manhwa, I was reading continuously without stopping, chapter after another after another…… till my eyes were blurry and I could read no more… A captivating story, touching, beautiful art….etc in short an Epic manhwa…. But it wasn’t because of its heavenly atmosphere that I was reading nonstop… actually it was more like a hellish tower :O:O:O yeah surprising !!!

But even though the story was nothing like what I imagined it IS A MAGNIFICENT EPIC MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!  It’s a... a… I donno how to describe it! But it s absolutely from the best manga/manhwas ever! What a story! Absolutely from the top webtoons!
The art is nice, decent and lovely to the eyes, the plot is not 100% original but it is presented and manipulated in a way that gave it a unique sensation, and an original print. Unquestionably beautiful and interesting storyline!!!!! I’m not ganna describe it more so that I won’t spoil the manhwa for u guys... but it is absolutely worth ur time if u like to read about an imaginary place with fictional rules and logic….

The manhwa is full with different kind of emotions... different type of characters and looooots of unveiled mysteries. It has a lot of potential to proceed forward successfully. But the thing that bothers me about this manhwa is the slow pace of the events... Maybe its becuz I’m too impatient and I wanna know how the story will turn as it is full of twists :O:O
TOWER OF GOD is full of fantasy, mystery, unexpected twists, drama, strong emotions and deep characters… It is a must read don’t miss it ;) take my advise;)

ORANGE (TAKANO ICHIGO)

From a while my friend recommended “ORANGE” manga for me but I didn’t find the name appealing so I didn’t check it. But yesterday I was searching for a good read and I remembered orange so I decided to give it a try… and I was like OMG!!! This manga is super awesome :O I couldn’t lift my head up while reading this manga... and I kept reading and reading till I reached the last scanlated chapter... and for my disappointment the next chapter will be released in January!!! So I have to wait >.< so frustrating >.<

This manga is more than original in many aspects… I’ve never came across any manga with similar plot or common idea. I’m not going to spoil the manga for you so I’m not going to tell the story. But this is a must read manga! Beside that the mangaka is a real genius; her art and the story line are definitely great. The art is charming and beautiful, the characters are not clones not even the side characters... each one has its own style, from hair cut to their features to their personality. But well as the story is school life genre then the uniform is mostly illustrated.

As much as the art is pretty the plot line is fascinating and enchanting. When you start reading a spell is cast on you so that you live with the manga characters every detail and you share their feelings… whenever the heroine is sad you feel the sadness in your heart and if she is happy you also feel happy. The feelings and the emotions of the characters become united with yours. Or at least that was the case with me. The manga gave me a bitter sweet sensation that I can’t explain, I was reading orange not only with my eyes but with my heart too.

The mystery factor is a big bonus in this manga. Along with mystery drama, romance and school life are the main component of Orange. The romance is so sweet, the drama can make you’re your heart wrench, and mystery will force your mind to think and wonder. All along the stunning plot and story line progress this manga is spell binding. In short Orange is a great manga with beautiful art and if you skip reading it then you are really missing something great and original. Read it! It is definitely worth your time :D

Vampire Girl

Here I am!!! Wohooo!!! More manga reviews…XD I can’t believe it myself that I can actually write for my blog again! When I have like 17 book to take care of >.< yeah…Collage is so exhausting!

So there is this manga that I have read before a while … I guess it was in the previous summer … will it certainly wasn’t the brightest  manga I’ve came across… In fact it has a pretty twisted plot in it... No horror elements though only psychological.  Its title is “Vampire Girl”.

It is one of the most twisted manga I’ve ever read!! It has this spooky mood flying around it which gives it its originality.  As in my previous manga review I am not going to tell a summary for the manga or spoil it for you =D I’m only going to spot out its good or bad sides…

First of all the art… The art is beautiful… but it really depends on the readers’ taste to decide if it’s pretty or annoying… as for me I really like the art and find it pretty and impressive especially its gloomy and spooky touch which is very obvious, this aides in building up the general theme that the mangaka was trying to illustrate throughout this manga… the art style is definitely the best with respect to the story line and genres of the manga.

As for the plot, the manga definitely has an original and unique story line. Mystery is the major element in Vampire Girl, which will spell bind the reader to the manga and it will certainly make him want to read more so that he can keep up with the amazing and unexpected progress of the story in order unsolved the tangled mysteries and to discover what’s unknown. Beside mystery, psychological and romance genres are heavily present too. This fascinating combination of these three genres beside the suspense element captivates the reader and enthralls him, making him stick to the manga till the end. As for me it was impossible for me to leave my laptop before finishing all the manga chapters.

The characters of the manga starts cool and cold with little emotions expressed and little talking… but as the story progresses their emotions starts to float to the surface, and they start to lose their cool and self composure. Actually they start to lose themselves, and they sink in to a very deep, dark well that is full of regrets and sorrows…

There is still something that really affected me, which is a metaphor the mangaka used in Vampire Girl. He illustrated the whole struggle of the manga heroes in a simple drawing of a boy playing in a shining rolling thing. It indicates how their fate was previously decided, and how they are unable to escape it. They will always remain rolling and spinning in the same place- which is their destiny in this case- unable to break free of it.

In short this manga is a must read xD So don’t miss it!!! Believe me it is worth your time (of course if you are in the mood for psychological, gloomy and mysterious themes)…
note: all the pictures are uploaded from the internet i dont own any of them.

The breaker

Hey everybody :D ….this time I want to introduce one of the best manga that I’ve ever read. A manga will be judged according to its art, plot and character development... So I’ll start by one of the top manhwa that I have ever read which left a huge impact on me …because well…hmmmm … I’m from that type that reads tons of manga were I can never recall there number … but still when I get asked for help in recommending a good manga …my head feels blank and I go checking my list that I saved to remember what I’ve read ….so for a manga to leave a good impression on me it really should be special …

Then back to the top of my reads... I will start with the breaker.

This manhwa is from the greatest manhwas ever; it has a very unique and original plot and story line…

First of all I’m not going to discuss the story of the breaker – which will totally spoil it for you - but rather than that I’m going to state the good points that makes it a unique manhwa and supports its originality , while on the other hand I’m going to state what (in my personal opinion) disadvantage this fabulous story…

As a matter of fact the first thing in manga/manhwa that leaves an impression on a reader, where it attracts more audience or vise versa is the art … as for The Breaker the art is beautiful and eye catching^^ If you are browsing for a good art read you can’t pass the breaker without giving this manhwa a try…

As for the plot it was sooooo original, which is a rare thing to find without browsing all possible manga in the genres you want to read … Any ways even though the plot had this cliché where a bullied loser was actually talented in material art… Still other than that almost everything was original in the story …. Even though the manhwa is full with drama and serious sad and difficult moments were the characters were struggling to go through them and succeed, comedy moments were greatly present…

The huge variation in the “mood” of the story was a big advantage for its success…the manhwa was full of hard drama moment, sadness, weakness, humiliation and sympathy

At the same time it was rich with those hilarious and very funny scenes, so comedy was a major component of with great presence.

Beside drama and comedy there was romance too, were the high school heroin was experiencing, plus the romance between other more adult characters. Mean while the major element in the genres of “The Breaker” is the action element were those entire great fight scene and cool fighting moves were illustrated…

These variations between seriousness, sadness, coolness, action, suspense, comedy,
foolishness… (Etc) give a charming touch to the story along with the spell binding story line, were you absolutely can’t stop reading the manhwa till you reach the final chapter, because of the huge suspense, tangled mysteries, and the heavy presence of the characters emotions and feelings… So unless you satisfy your curiosity by knowing how the story will end, you’ll hardly leave the manhwa -not even for short breaks- at least that was my experience…

The character development is awesome were each one of the heroes has his unique touch and mark, his own style and special traits… So while reading you won’t bump with clones and identical characters, instead you will get introduced to many different types of personalities, and will make you dive deep in their inner souls and encourage the reader to analyze their deep feelings and thoughts… On the other hand some of the side characters are deprived from their development and remain at the same state that the story first introduces them.

The ending is not that satisfying (normal because there is a second part of the story) but it is beautiful; the last chapters are so captivating and full of suspense … but still my complain is about the second part of the story were it would have been better to end the series by adding few chapters to the first part without the need to drag on with the story in a second part (which I personally found it boring)…

note: non of the pictures is mine all ofthem are uploaded from the internet from different sources...:)
